Solid Q1 Revenue Increase|
Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc
April 5, 2001
Omni-Lite is pleased to announce that sales for the first quarter of 2001 were approximately $820,000 CDN, an increase of 24% over sales of $664,000 CDN in the same period of fiscal 2000. "This increase in revenue is largely the result of new product developments completed in 2000. Research and development efforts currently under way could have further positive influence on the company's performance", stated David F. Grant, President and CEO.
Omni-Lite has received a new contract from a large California based corporation to produce components that will be utilized by both Boeing and Airbus. This contract further adds to the revenues in the company's Aerospace Division.
As part of the current order to deliver components utilized by the US Army and NATO, Omni-Lite has accepted an option to extend the contract. The value of this option, if exercised, could exceed $1,952,000 CDN, over the period of April 2002 to March 2003.
Omni-Lite is a rapidly growing high technology company that develops and manufactures precision components used by over 200 companies including GM, Ford, Mazda, Daimler-Chrysler, the U.S. Military, Fairchild, Nike, adidas and Reebok.
