Omni-Lite reports record revenue in Q2 2008
Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc.
July 2, 2008
Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc.'s revenue for the second quarter of 2008 exceeded $2,073,000, an increase of 48 per cent from revenue in the same fiscal period of 2007. This figure is the highest quarterly revenue ever recorded by the company and brings sales in the first two quarters of fiscal 2008 to approximately $4-million, an increase of 33 per cent over the same period in 2007. This figure is again a record for any two-quarter period in the company's history.
"The record revenues of first quarter 2008 have been followed by record revenues in second quarter of 2008," stated Timothy Wang, chief financial officer. "The business model at Omni-Lite has again shown its resilience and its underlying ability to continue to generate shareholder value. The company's performance is particularly important given the economic headwinds buffeting the general economy. Critical to this achievement are the high-value-added engineering design and manufacturing concepts that the company has developed, coupled with the company's diversification strategy. The significance of the advanced material technologies that the company offers could have additional effects on the company's growth in future periods."
