The focus of our 2003 fiscal year at Omni-Lite has been to implement the strategic plan deemed necessary to see the Company continue to grow and provide the excellent service and products that our customers require. The facets of this plan included:
1. The purchase and modification of new production and laboratory facilities in Cerritos, California.
2. The purchase of 4 larger cold forging systems that would allow Omni-Lite to expand into the market for larger more expensive components.
3. The augmentation of our sales and marketing team to help establish a larger customer base.
4. The diversification of the Board of Directors with the emphasis on independent directors who have extensive product development and sales experience.
The successful completion of this plan lead to a 27% growth in revenue in 2003 with earnings of about $0.10/share CDN. Further growth of this nature is expected in 2004.
As always I would like to thank our customers, employees, directors and consultants for their support over the last year. I would also like to remind all shareholders of our annual meeting to be held at the Angus/Northcote Rooms, Conference Center, Third floor, Bow Valley Sq2, 205 5th Ave. S.W., Calgary, Alberta, T2P 2V7 on Friday June 18, 2004 at 11:00am.
