Omni-Lite records $1.16-million revenue in Q2
Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. OML-TSX VENTURE
July 7, 2004
Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc.'s revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2004, including rental, was approximately $855,000 (U.S.) ($1,162,030 (Canadian)), an 18-per-cent increase over the corresponding period in 2003.
Total revenues for the first six months of 2004 were approximately $1,563,354 (U.S.) ($2,092,596 (Canadian)), an increase of 14 per cent over the same period last year.
"Record revenues for the second quarter and last six months are a result of the diligent efforts of our employees," stated Paul Burkey, president and chief operating officer. "A large portion of inventory produced in prior periods will be shipped in third quarter, the historically strongest quarter of the year. This, in combination with new production, should enable the company to continue its growth for remainder of the year."
To date, Omni-Lite has repurchased 234,300 common shares under the normal course issuer bid in 2004.
