Effective Sept. 1, 2002, Omni-Lite Industries Canada will become a Tier 1 supplier to BorgWarner Air/Fluid Systems. This change will facilitate the delivery of the transmission components that the company has been producing since 1995. In support of this change the company has received two purchase orders from BorgWarner. "Omni-Lite is pleased to accept this new challenge from BorgWarner and DaimlerChrysler," stated Tim Wang, sales and business development manager. "The additional responsibility that the company will assume should be matched by an increase in revenues from the project."
