Omni-Lite (OML) is pleased to announce that it has received a contract from ITV COPPERWELD of Fayetteville, Tennessee for the development of a component from a specialized bimetal wire that is manufactured by COPPERWELD. This unique material is produced by fusing two different metals together in a patented process. This technique is currently used to produce much of the wire utilized by the Cable TV Industry. To the company's knowledge this will be the first attempt to forge a component from a bimetal material. If successful, these experiments could provide considerable cost savings and other benefits to many products currently being evaluated by Omni-Lite and it's customers.
