Tuesday Feb 8 2000
Mr. Mikel Damke reports
Omni-Lite has been awarded numerous contracts by Fairchild for the delivery of
components to its aerospace division and partners. It is anticipated that these
contracts are the first of many to support several long-term projects at Fairchild.
"These contracts represent the first major step to securing very large
high-technology projects in the lucrative aerospace industry," stated David Grant.
Details of these contracts will be made available over the next several weeks.
The company has now successfully completed the first production run of the second
generation link for the U.S. Army and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization
(NATO). This technically challenging project and the innovative solution developed
by Omni-Lite will lead to further U.S. patents that can open the door to many new
revenue streams. This component can be produced efficiently over a long-term
basis.
The Volkswagen (www.vw.com) airbag component will move to final approval in February. Production quantities of this product should be shipped in March, further enhancing the company's automotive division and relationship with Volkswagen and its suppliers.
THE ALBERTA STOCK EXCHANGE HAS NEITHER APPROVED NOR DISAPPROVED THE INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN.
