Omni-Lite receives new orders of $235,381
Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc.
October 26, 2009
Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received several new orders in the Automotive, Aerospace, and Sports and Recreational divisions. These latest orders are for approximately $221,000 US ($235,381 CDN).
The largest order in this announcement is for components in the valve system of a technically sophisticated clean diesel program underway by a major automotive OEM.
"This is the second significant order for components for this new engine, code-named Scorpion. There are 16 Omni-Lite components in each engine, significantly increasing the Company's production of green diesel products. The requirement for these new components will continue to ramp up throughout 2010 and should peak in 2011. Orders should remain at that level for several years to come," stated Tim Wang, CFO. "Adding significance to these new orders in the Automotive, Military and Sports and Recreational Divisions is an additional First Article Approval (FAAT) for a new military component that the Company has recently begun delivering in production quantities. This approval, for a second manufacturing system, will allow the Company to double the production capacity of this component. This enhanced delivery capability should allow the Company to meet the customers requirements in the immediate future."
