Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. has received several new orders in the military, aerospace, and sports and recreational divisions of the company. These latest orders are for approximately $1,754,255 (Canadian) ($1,589,004 (U.S.)). "Approximately 70 per cent of these new orders are for military products. Most importantly, some of the orders are now expected on an annual basis for the next five years."
Omni-Lite is continuing to complete the development of two additional components for the U.S. military. Some of these components are expected to enter the testing phase in the next couple of months. If successful, production could begin on these components in the fourth quarter of 2009. The remainder of the orders announced are for sports and recreational products that the company has been manufacturing for the last 15 years and for aerospace products that are used in a wide range of modern aircraft.
