Omni-Lite awarded $1-million military contract

Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. has signed a new contract in the military division. This contract is valued at approximately $1,021,000 ($875,000 (U.S.)). The delivery of these components is scheduled to begin in the second quarter and must be completed by Dec. 31, 2009.
"This contract is for a new program that the company has been working on for approximately 18 months," stated David Grant, chairman and chief executive officer. "This order and others expected for this product line will provide more clarity on the future requirements for this component. Delays in final approval of this product line led to lower revenues in Q4 of 2008 and Q1 in 2009."
