Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc.
August 8, 2008
Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. has received several new orders in the military, automotive, sports, recreational and aerospace divisions. The total value of these orders is approximately $1,052,000 (U.S.). Of particular significance, $700,000 of these orders were in the military division, an area of potential rapid growth for the foreseeable future. Several additional orders were received in the speciality automotive division, some of which support large agricultural equipment manufacturers. "With these new orders the backlog of the company is continuing to grow, providing more visibility into the company's performance over the next few quarters," stated Allen W. Maxin, vice-president of operations. "In addition, the company is continuing the aggressive development of several new products which could be commercialized in the next few months. Some of these programs are considerably larger than programs undertaken by the company historically and could require the expansion of the company beyond what is contemplated in the vision 2015 growth strategy adopted by the board of directors in February, 2008."
