Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc.
April 15, 2008
Omni-Lite Industries Inc. has received additional orders in the military, aerospace and automotive divisions. The total value of these orders is approximately $470,000 (U.S.). Of particular significance is a new military contract that complements the programs previously announced. Through these initiatives, Omni-Lite is now in a critical position with regard to several modernization efforts under way in the US Army and Marine Corps. Many of these complex programs are ideally suited to the sophisticated design, engineering, production and quality systems resident at Omni-Lite.
The company is also pleased to announce that revenues for the first quarter of 2008 exceeded $1,963,000, an increase of 20 per cent from revenues in the same fiscal period of 2007. "The record revenues of 2007 have been followed by record revenues in the first quarter of 2008," stated Tim Wang, chief financial officer. "Given the backlog at hand, it is anticipated that 2008 will be another year of record revenue at the company."
