Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. OML-TSX VENTURE
June 5, 2006
Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. has signed a new contract in the military division. This contract is a follow-on order to that mentioned on May 26, 2006. The company is also pleased to announce a new automotive contract. The total value of these contracts is approximately $121,000.
"This is the third order that the company has received for these military components in the last month," stated Allen W. Maxin, vice-president of operations. "The total value of the three orders is approximately $310,000."
Omni-Lite is also pleased to announce that it has entered into a new business area with the purchase of five state-of-the-art progressive microforming systems. This equipment will enable the manufacture of the very small components used in computers, cellphones, PDAs and other electronic equipment. Of particular significance, these small parts can be used in various medical applications. The company also feels that the nanowires to be produced by its associated company, California Nanotechnologies Inc., may be of particular importance in the production of these microcomponents.
To further its goals of being an environmental leader, the company has purchased a large automated aqueous parts cleaning system. This system will eliminate all other cleaning procedures involving volatile organic solvents.
