Omni-Lite beams about Wesco deal

Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. has been awarded its first contract from Wesco Aircraft Hardware Corp., a worldwide distributor of aerospace and military aircraft components.
"We are pleased to receive our first contract with Wesco," stated Paul A. Burkey, president and chief operational officer. "As the relationship between Wesco and Omni-Lite develops, it is anticipated that sales in the aerospace division will continue to lead the growth at Omni-Lite."
Omni-Lite has also received a new contract to supply military components valued at $260,000 (U.S.). The contract is to be completed by the end of fiscal 2005.
"Second quarter production is on track to exceed all previous productivity goals in the company's history resulting from the continuous improvement programs established last year," stated Allen Maxin, vice-president of operations support. "We are pleased with the direction that the company is moving and with the commitment to continuous improvement that our employees have shown."
