David F. Grant
CEO, & Director

Mr. Grant founded Omni-Lite Industries Inc. (which later merged to form Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc.) in 1992. As CEO of the Company, Mr. Grant is responsible for the strategic direction of the Company. Mr. Grant is responsible for the Company’s financial performance and corporate governance and manages the communications with equity research analysts and shareholders.

Mr. Grant is also involved in the project management of the Company’s R&D projects. Mr. Grant is also President, CEO, and Chairman of Cal Nano. Prior to founding Omni-Lite Industries, Mr. Grant spent 15 years working in the aerospace industry in various management capacities in the areas of marketing and business development. While employed in the aerospace industry, Mr. Grant worked extensively in South and North America, Africa, and Asia. Mr. Grant received his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering at the University of Calgary in 1975, following which he attended graduate studies in Oceanography at the University of British Columbia and Memorial University in Newfoundland. Mr. Grant was the recipient of one of the first C-CORE scholarships for graduate research.


Allen W. Maxin
President

Mr. Maxin joined Omni-Lite in June of 2002 as the Technical Sales Manager and was promoted in 2006 to V.P. Operations. Prior to joining Omni-Lite, Mr. Maxin worked for a California based, mid-sized aerospace fastener company. In his 12 years at the firm, he held various positions that included Sales & Application Engineer, Technical Operations Management, Project Management, and Methods planning. Mr. Maxin has over thirty years in the fastener industry and hold various certificates in Mechanical Drafting & Design, Manufacturing Resource Planning, Statistical Process Control & Aeronautics Management. He served as a Technical Advisor to the National Aeronautics Society Committee. Mr. Maxin is a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) & the American Society of Material (ASM).


Timothy Wang
CFO

Mr. Wang has served as the Company’s CFO since 2004 and reports directly to the Executive Chairman. Mr. Wang is responsible for accounting, financial reporting, finance, human resources and information technology. Mr. Wang joined Omni-Lite in September 2001 as Sales and Business Development Manager. He is also Chief Financial Officer and a Director of California Nanotechnologies Corporation. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Wang spent six years working in various roles in process and project engineering, product development, and in sales & marketing. He has experience in the oil and gas, ceramics, plastics, and food processing industries. Tim Wang received his Honours Bachelors of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 1995.


Mike Walker
V.P. Research & Development

Mr. Walker is the Company’s Vice President of Research & Development. Mr. Walker joined the Company shortly after his graduation from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1994 with a mechanical engineering technology diploma. Mr. Walker has expertise and experience in design tooling and cold forging process engineering. Mr. Walker is responsible for all new product implementation and is involved in material science, failure analysis and testing activities. His extensive experience in solving complex cold forging problems contributes significantly to Omni-Lite's success. Mr. Walker utilizes 3-D design software and supervises the use of the in-house EDM machine to create crucial tooling components. Mr. Walker also is capable of hands-on support on the floor to set up production lines and modify equipment for the Company’s patented processes. Mr. Walker graduated, with honours, in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology Polytechnic (S.A.I.T.)


Donald Kelly
Director

Mr. Kelly is corporate counsel with the firm Miles, Davison, McCarthy, McNiven LLP of Calgary, Alberta, and has been practising corporate and commercial law for over 40 years. He was for over 17 years a director in Startech Energy Inc., a company trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange until its acquisition by Arc Resources Ltd. in January 2001.


Norm Goodrich
Director

Mr. Goodrich received a Bachelor of Science In Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1961 and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Structures) from the University of Calgary in 1968. He worked for an A/E Consulting practice for 17 years as an Associate and Principal Structural Engineer on hundreds of building projects the most notable of which were Mount Royal College and the Calgary International Airport. He joined the Simpson Lester Goodrich Partnership in 1978 a major Structural Engineering Consulting practice in Western Canada specializing in Building, Bridge, and Industrial markets. Mr. Goodrich has been a participant with Omni-Lite since the early days of development.
